Beholding Greatness

Ever caught a glimpse of someone great?  Ever seen someone relatively famous, or really famous?  You can't help but speak of them when you get around your family and friends.  I am so excited about what God is doing in so many lives.  By the greatness of His grace, He shows us a glimpse of Christ.  With the eye of faith we behold Him and our lives are changed.  Suddenly we start desiring differently as His Spirit works within us to cause us to delight in the things of HIM and a certain distaste for things of the world results.

I am convinced the need in the church and the need for the world is in seeing Christ and continuing to gaze upon Him.  And that is our aim at Redemption.  We seek to put Jesus on display in all we are in all we do, with every song we sing, with every message preached: Christ is made known.  And as we encounter Him our lives will change.  And as we see Him, we believe we must go tell others about this great Jesus.  And this is our prayer  - that we might be a part of making Him known.  For to see Him is to be changed by Him.  And in Him we have found joy, peace, love, purpose.  Come and see what we are so excited about.  Come see Jesus again...for the first time.

"And we all with unveiled face beholding the glory of the Lord are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another." - 2 Cor. 3:18
